The Boise Hawks (10-9) got a multi-home run game from Jeff Bohling as they cruised to a 7-3 win over the Tri-City Dust Devils (9-10) to win the series on Tuesday night. Daniel Jipping also added a home run in the game.

Bohling got Boise going early. After Matt Hearn got a bunt single to start the game, Bohling hit his first home run of the season out to right field giving Boise a 2-0 advantage. Later in the inning, Luis Castro doubled and it was Aubrey McCarty with an RBI single to score Castro and Boise had a 3-0 lead.

Boise starter Jeffri Ocando gave up back-to-back singles in the bottom of the first, but after Grant Little hit a sacrifice fly to left field, Ocando would work out of it only allowing one run as Boise led 3-1.

Bohling led off the 3rd inning for the Hawks and hit a solo homerun to right field pushing the Hawks lead to 4-1. In the bottom of the 4th, Tri-City chased Boise starter Jeffri Ocando as they got an RBI single with the bases loaded and one out from Mason House making it a 4-2 game. Ocando went 3.1 innings allowing two runs.

With the bases still loaded, Mike Bunal came into the game for the Hawks and got two strikeouts to get Boise to the dugout. In the fifth, the Hawks got that run back on an RBI single for Kyle Datres to make it 5-2 Hawks.

Tri-City then got another run in the 6th, but it was Daniel Jipping's two-run home run to left that gave Boise a cushion in the 8th making it 7-3 Boise.

Bunal goes 2.1 innings to get the win, allowing only one run. Eric Hepple goes 1.1 innings of scoreless baseball and it was Hunter Williams who finished it out with shutout innings in the 8th and 9th to get the series win.
