Lavigne Lifts Spokane to Series Finale Win

Spokane, Wash. - Grant Lavigne's two-run homer in the seventh inning put the finishing touches on Spokane's 8-2 win over the AquaSox in front of 2,817 fans at Avista Stadium for OTTO the Mascot's Birthday Bash and Kid's Day Game.

TOP PERFORMERS

Lavigne reached base three times in the game with a walk, double, and his fourth home run of the season. The 22-year-old has nine hits over the last five games to raise his average to a team-best .298.

Starting pitcher Andrew Quezada improved to a perfect 5-0 on the season with six innings of two-run ball.

Anderson Bido tossed two scoreless innings of relief and has not allowed a run over his last four appearances out of the bullpen.

Eddie Diaz reached base three times with a single, walk, and HBP while tying for the league-lead with his 27th stolen base.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Hillsboro (30-37) piled up 13 hits in their 8-3 win over Vancouver (32-34).
