The Raptors Shut Out Casper 10-0

The Ogden Raptors shut out the Casper Rockies 10-0 to win thier second game in a row Sunday afternoon.

Ogden was lead by Stephen Johnson (1-1) who struck out ten batters in seven innings of shutout work. He only allowed four hits and one walk.

Johnson now has 27 punch outs on the season to lead the Pioneer League.

The Raptors scored one run in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings but pulled away in the 7th. Four Raptors walked in the inning, John Martin scored on a balk. Then Josh Bell's single drove in two runs to make it 6-0.

In the 8th inning the Raptors extend the lead. Matt Berezay hit a three run homer to make it 10-0.

Ryan Rogowski also hit his first home run of the season, it was a solo shot to lead off the 5th.

Ogden (7-6) has won two games in a row while the Rockies (2-11) have lost their last six.

The Raptors will go for the sweep Monday night at 7:05. Chales Dasni will get the start for the Raptors.
