Help Stateline Community Foundation
November 11, 2014

BELOIT, Wisc.- Throughout the 2014 baseball season the Beloit Snappers and West Bend Mutual have teamed up to raise money for the Stateline Community Foundation.

During the 2014 season anytime a Snapper player hit a home run at Pohlman Field, $50 was donated by West Bend Mutual to the Stateline Community Foundation up to $1,500. By the end of the season the Snappers hit a grand total of 52 homeruns at Pohlman Field.

Rachel Anderson and Jodie Hughes from West Bend Mutual along with Peter Marino and Mark Senz from Senz Insurance presented the check to Tara Tinder, Executive Director of the Stateline Community Foundation.

The purpose of the Stateline Community Foundation is to promote the betterment of the greater Beloit community and the enhancement of the quality of life for all of its citizens.

"In conjunction with Senz Insurance, West Bend is pleased to present the Stateline Community Foundation with a check in the amount of one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500)," said Bill Hutchinson, Sr. Vice President of West Bend Insurance, Inc. "Thank you for the excellent service you provide to the community, and we look forward to working with you in the future".

"West Bend is a great partner of Snappers Baseball, and we appreciate their generosity in working with us to help benefit the Stateline Community Foundation," said Snappers President Dennis Conerton. "This is a perfect example of how the Beloit Snappers and their partners benefit the Stateline Area off the baseball field. We look forward to continuing the partnership in 2015 and beyond."

The Beloit Snappers open up the 2015 season on the road on Thursday, April 9th against the Clinton Lumberkings. The home opener at Pohlman Field will be Wednesday, April 15th against the Quad Cities River Bandits.
