Connecticut Tigers to Host Job Fair at Dodd Stadium
2010 Seasonal Job Fair to be Held Saturday Starting at 10 a.m.
NORWICH, CT - The Connecticut Tigers, the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, are hiring seasonal workers for their inaugural season at a Job Fair this Saturday, May 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Dodd Stadium.
Seasonal positions include game day staff and other jobs to be performed during the Tigers season. Perspective employees must be 16 years or older and are asked to bring proof of their age to the fair. The Tigers will have applications available and participants are asked to be ready for on-site interviews. Applications are also available online at www.cttigers.com under the "About" section.
The Connecticut Tigers begin their 2010 home season on Saturday, June 26 at 7:05 p.m. against the Vermont Lake Monsters at Dodd Stadium.
"Our first season is right around the corner," said Tigers General Manager Andrew Weber. "We are running every aspect of our operation internally and have a high demand for capable workers. This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to earn extra income in the summer."
The positions available include the following: parking staff, cooks, cashiers, bartenders, waiter/waitresses, concession stand managers, Kid's Zone attendants, stadium cleaning crew, grounds crew and on-field personnel. The Tigers are looking for friendly people that don't mind interacting with fans and believe in the team motto of providing superior customer service!
