'Cutters, ESPN Radio extend agreement
This summer, for the third straight season, all 76 games will be broadcast via radio on 1050AM and 104.1FM, as well as on www.crosscutters.com online. This season, Cutters fans in the Northern Tier will also be able to hear all games on ESPN 1310 (WTZN) in Troy and ESPN 1550 (WTTC) in Towanda. Todd Bartley returns for his third season as "Voice of the Cutters".
Cutters vp of marketing and PR, Gabe Sinicropi, stated, "The Cutters continue to be pleased with our relationship with ESPN Radio Williamsport. Their commitment to our team, and local sports on all levels, is second to none. We are happy that the Crosscutters will remain a cornerstone of their local sports coverage." He went on to say, "The addition of two stations in the Northern Tier is a plus for our team and fans. It will serve to greatly enhance our marketing efforts in that area."
Bartley, ESPN Radio Williamsport's station manager, is happy to see the partnership continue, saying, "We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to extend our great working relationship with the Crosscutters for another two seasons. As the only professional sports franchise in the region, it's our job to provide them with the best coverage possible, and we take that responsibility very seriously."
