Wilson, Travelers top Wranglers
Trailing in the ninth, 4-2, the Travelers (7-9) rallied against reliever Ryan Braun (1-6). After Matthew Brown tripled with one out, Terry Evans struck out but reached on a passed ball by Damaso Espino that allowed Brown to score. Gregory Porter followed with a single and Wilson belted a double to center field to bring home Evans and Porter.
Arkansas reliever Kyle Edens (2-1) gave up one run on one hit and a walk with two strikeouts in three innings to pick up the win.
Dee Brown and Mitch Maier both homered for the second game in a row for the Wranglers (10-6). Brown crushed a two-run blast in the opening frame, while Maier slugged a solo shot in the fourth and added an RBI single in the eighth to give Wichita a 4-2 lead.
Wranglers starter Zack Greinke allowed two runs on six hits and one walk with seven strikeouts in six innings but did not figure in the decision. --Eric Justic/MLB.com
