Part-time, game-day job opportunities

The Iowa Cubs have employment opportunities in several areas this season for part-time, game-day positions. We will add more job opportunities as the season nears. 

BACKSTOP STORE SALES ASSOCIATES

Sales Associates will work game days and provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and helping them choose and purchase merchandise. Sales associates will be trained to use the point of sale software to check out customers and to monitor inventory levels. Sales Associates will also be trained to be knowledgable about products in order to answer any questions related to the Backstop Store. In addition, sales associates will also maintain a clean and organized environment as well as completing special projects assigned by manager. To apply contact Shelby Heimbuch

PARKING SUPERVISOR

Manage a parking staff of 8-10 employees for all Iowa Cubs home games and the high school state tournament. Manage change allocation for all paid lots. Regulate reserved parking for daily skybox spaces. Work with Stadium Operations management to schedule and manage game day parking staff. Offer and promote excellent customer service within the department and report daily assessment to the Stadium Operations management team. PARKING ATTENDANTS

Attendants will staff Iowa Cubs parking lots during home games and high school state tournament. Attendants work sky box and season ticket pass lots and as well as handle cash for paid lots. The Iowa Cubs have 72 home games plus the state high school baseball tournament in July. Attendants work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Average shift is 5 hours. BAT BOYS

Workers must be at least 16 years old. Bat boys work before, during and after all Iowa Cubs home games. Bat boys report to the clubhouse manager and also assist Iowa Cubs players and field staff in a variety of dutues. Interested persons should apply at Principal Park or email Andrew Quillin

Principal Park winter office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
