UPDATE:

As part of the Royals Caravan fans in attendance on January 29 at Papillion-La Vista South High School will have the opportunity to register to win a pair of Royals tickets and a weekend trip to Kansas City, courtesy of VisitKC and Missouri Tourism.

The Royals are also teaming up with the USO to collect items for military members serving overseas and returning from service. Fans are encouraged to bring personal care items including washcloths, individually wrapped toothbrushes, beef jerky, drink packets (that can be added to bottled water) and pudding cups.

In addition, children and adults can bring or make hand-written "Thank You" cards for troops at our Caravan stops. Royals Charities will donate $1 to the USO for each card received (up to $10,000).

The annual Royals Caravan will be arriving at its stop in the Omaha Metro this year at Papillion-La Vista South High School from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. for a free event at Titan Arena. Set to appear are Royals Hall of Fame member Willie Wilson, television announcer Rex Hudler, 2014 Storm Chaser Terrance Gore and Royals catcher Erik Kratz.

Willie Wilson, a two-time American League All-Star and member of the 1985 World Series team, was inducted into the Royals Hall of Fame in 2000. Wilson is Kansas City's all-time leader in stolen bases at 612, racked up the fourth most hits at 1,968 and played the fifth most games in a Royals uniform at 1,787. Before making it to the Major Leagues Wilson spent the 1976 season playing with the Omaha Royals where he stole 74 bases, the second most in a season in Omaha history.

Rex Hudler will be entering his fourth season in the television booth as an analyst for the Fox Sports Kansas City Broadcast team in 2015. He worked in the same capacity alongside current broadcast partner Steve Physioc for 11 seasons with the Los Angeles Angels from 1999-2009. Hudler played in 774 career Major League games, spanning 13 seasons with six different organizations.

Terrance Gore made his Major League debut during the 2014 season, appearing in six games during the Royals World Series run, directly following his first ever stint with the Storm Chasers. Erik Kratz, also a member of the 2014 World Series roster, appeared in 13 games for the Royals after being acquired in July of 2014 and was one of four Kansas City players to appear in the 2014 Japan All-Star Series.

The event features a Q&A and Autograph Session, an Inflatable obstacle course and pitching target as well as the opportunity to take part in "Nebraska811 Win, Lose, or Draw" a new season long promotion coming to Werner Park in 2015. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.
