APPLEBEE'S PARK (Lexington, KY) - Maroon 5, whose albums have sold more than 15 million copies worldwide and include hits such as "This Love," "Harder to Breathe," "She Will Be Loved" and "Makes Me Wonder," will headline a great summer concert at Applebee's Park in Lexington Saturday, August 28 starting at 7:00pm.

The Lexington stop is part of the band's 2010 North American tour and will include songs from their newest album, "Hands All Over," which is scheduled for release September 21. More information on Maroon 5 is available at www.maroon5.com.

The opening acts include Kris Allen, whose path to victory on the eighth season of "American Idol" began with an audition in Louisville; English singer/songwriter V.V. Brown, whose songs were described in Spin magazine as having "elements of funk, soul, reggae, hip-hop -- even punk and rockabilly -- and nearly everything in between"; and MIGGS, an acclaimed Tampa-based pop/rock group with a recently released album "Wide Awake."

Reserved seat tickets in the 100 level sections are $68 each. Field general admission (no seating) is $58, and reserved seating in the 200 level sections is $48. VIP packages are available. Gates will open at 6 p.m. The concert will begin at 7 p.m.
