Jonathan Barratt Named PItcher of the Week

VISALIA, CA - Visalia Oaks lefthander Jonathan Barratt was named the California League's pitcher of the week for the week of July 10th-16th by Minor League Baseball on Monday. In two starts, Barratt was 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA over 12.2 IP last week. He allowed just eight hits, while striking out thirteen batters and walking one.

Barratt was brilliant on Sunday in Bakersfield, striking out 11 in six shutout innings over 80 pitches. He earned the win Tuesday night, besting Colorado's Samuel Deduno. He gave up two runs in 6.2 innings that night, with both runs coming with two outs in the seventh inning.

Barratt is 4-3 with a 3.76 ERA in 67 IP this year for Visalia.
