Father's Day game features BBQ mitt giveaway

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The River Cats have several exciting promotions occurring at Raley Field during their June 14-21 homestand, including Extreme Sports Night and a Father's Day Weekend Celebration.

The River Cats begin the homestand with a four-game series against Pacific South Division rivals, the Reno Aces. Two promotions during the series include a "Free Money" Sweepstakes on Wednesday, June 16 and Extreme Sports Night on Thursday, June 17. To close out the homestand the River Cats will face the Salt Lake Bees in a four-game series that includes Father's Day on Sunday, June 20.

Extreme Sports Night

The first 2,500 fans entering the ballpark receive a one-of-a-kind River Cats Skateboard Deck and local skateboarding twins Nic and Tristan Puehse will be on hand for a special autograph session. There will also be an in-stadium scavenger hunt where a lucky fan will have the chance to win a team autographed skateboard deck. Motocross bikes will also be parading around the warning track as part of the pre-game entertainment.

Father's Day Weekend

Celebrate Father's Day with the River Cats all weekend long beginning with Toyota Family Value Fridays on June 18 with $1 hot dogs and $1 desserts, and Saturday postgame Sutter Health Fireworks on June 19. On Sunday, June 20 the first 2,500 fans receive a BBQ Mitt; additionally as part of U.S. Bank Kids Sunday, children and their dads can play catch on the field and run the bases after the matinee game.
