Cedar Rapids, IA - Opening Day for the 2015 season is less than four weeks away and a sure sign is the opening of the Kernels Ticket Office and Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop for the season on Monday, March 23^rd at 10 AM.

Individual game tickets for the Cedar Rapids Kernels 2015 season go on sale Monday, March 23^rd at 10 AM in the Kernels Ticket Office and online at www.kernels.com.

This season it pays to purchase your tickets in advance as the Kernels have implemented a 'Game Day' ticket price. Ticket prices for advance sales are $11.00 for Premier tickets, $10.00 for Club tickets, $8.00 for Plaza tickets, and $7.00 for Lawn seating, but those prices go up $1.00 the day of the game.

The Kernels Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Fans can avoid standing in line to buy tickets by purchasing them online and printing them at home.

The Kernels Bimm Ridder Diamond Shop, located in Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium, offers a full line of Kernels and Twins merchandise including hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts, game-worn and game-used items and more. The Diamond Shop is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.

The 2015 Kernels arrive in Cedar Rapids on Monday, April 6^th and your first chance to meet the new team is on Tuesday, April 7^th as part of 'Meet the Kernels Night' from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. The Kernels open the 2015 MWL season on Thursday, April 9^th at Kane County and the 2015 Home Opener is Sunday, April 12^th when the Kernels host the Beloit Snappers at 4:05 PM.
