Jays sign former NL All-Star, Randy Wolf
The Toronto Blue Jays today announced that they have signed LHP RANDY WOLF to a minor league contract.
Wolf, 38, is a veteran of 382 Major League games with the Phillies, Dodgers, Padres, Astros, Brewers and Marlins. He spent eight years in Philadelphia from 1999-2006 where he won 10 or more games four times, including a career-best 16-10 record during an All-Star campaign in 2003. Overall, the southpaw has posted double-digit win totals eight times with a 133-120 overall record and a 4.21 ERA in 2,293.2 big league innings.
Wolf missed the entire 2013 season after undergoing his second Tommy John surgery. He pitched in four organizations in 2014, making six appearances in the Major Leagues with Miami from mid-May to early June (1-3, 5.26 ERA).
