2015 Single-Game Tickets Debut This Saturday at Fan Fest

Opening Night, July 4, Cold Cut Night, and All 70 Games Available
March 19, 2015

Bowling Green, Ky. - With the powder and most of the cold weather seemingly in the rear-view mirror, the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Class-A/Tampa Bay Rays) are gearing up for Fan Fest on Saturday, when for the first time in 2015, single-game tickets will be available. While Fan Fest offers plenty of fun for fans, the action will also be in the box office as fans purchase tickets to dates such as Opening Night, July 4, and more for the first time. The event runs from 11 a.m. CT until 1 p.m. at Bowling Green Ballpark.

"Based on the activity on the phones and folks coming down to the ballpark, it's clear almost everyone is ready for baseball season," said Hot Rods Assistant General Manager Eric C. Leach. "With the recent release of our promotional schedule, fans now have the opportunity to pick out dates they are most interested in coming out to the ballpark for. We've also seen a dramatic increase in season-ticket packages, so the buzz around the team and the season is definitely in full swing leading up to Opening Night 30 days from today."

Announced earlier this month, the VIP Experience for Opening Night in the Reinhart Landing will continue to be on sale. The experience includes a seat, food buffet, and hat for just $30. Tickets are subject to availability, and are expected to sell out shortly. Opening Night is set for Saturday, April 18 with a special first-pitch time of 6:05 p.m. CT. The Lake County Captains (Cleveland Indians) will be the first Midwest League opponent of the season at Bowling Green Ballpark, however the Hot Rods will play a historic exhibition against Western Kentucky University before leaving for their season-opening road trip on Tuesday, April 7 at 6 p.m.

Single-game tickets to the exhibition, Opening Night, and all 70 home games in the 2015 season will be available as soon as Fan Fest begins on Saturday at 11 a.m. Fans will be able to play catch in the outfield, tour the ballpark and get a behind the scenes look of the baseball side, and much more. McGown Television will be giving away a 32" TV, with the only requirement being entrants must be present to win. The event is free, and with a forecast of mostly sunny skies and temperatures expected to approach 70, it offers the perfect chance for a first visit to the ballpark in 2015.

Season-ticket packages are still the best way to enjoy the 2015 season, and they're loaded with savings and benefits. With packages ranging from just a dozen games to all 70, there's a package that can fit anyone's schedule. Baseball returns on Tuesday, March 24 when WKU hosts the University of Kentucky, and they'll take on the Hot Rods just two weeks later in the exhibition contest.
