Riders announce 2015 television schedule on KTXD 47

KTXD 47 to air 20 Frisco games this season

FRISCO, TEXAS (MARCH 23, 2015) - The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, will once again televise 20 games on KTXD 47 this season. The RoughRiders' television package is one the most expansive in all of Minor League Baseball, giving fans across the Metroplex the chance to watch some of the Rangers' brightest prospects from home. For the first time ever, all of the Riders games will be televised in high definition.

RoughRiders broadcaster Alex Vispoli will return for his fourth season with the club and will deliver the play-by-play for every televised game. He will be joined by a rotating group of analysts throughout the season, including Anthony Andro of Fox Sports Southwest, former Rangers pitcher and current radio host on 105.3 The Fan Mike Bacsik, Sean Bass of 1310 The Ticket, former Rangers outfielder David Hulse and Michael Tepid of Lone Star Ball.

KTXD 47 is available throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area on AT&T U-verse (channel 47), Charter (channel 22/746 HD), Direct TV (channel 47), Dish Network (channel 47), Grande Communications (channel 99), Time Warner Cable (channel 24/429 HD) and Verizon Fios (channel 18/518 HD).

The 13th season of Frisco RoughRiders baseball begins on Thursday, April 9 at 7:05 p.m. when the Riders take on the Arkansas Travelers in what promises to be an unforgettable experience. Opening Day will be the season's first Thirsty Thursday/Groovy Grubesday and marks the first game in a new era of Riders baseball, with the debut of the club's new logo, uniforms and color scheme.
