Shelton leads Hens past Clippers

Steve Green (3-5) -- the third of six Toledo pitchers -- tossed 1 2/3 scoreless innings to earn the win. Lee Gardner hurled a 1-2-3 ninth to nab his 24th save of the season, while starter Jordan Tata allowed a run on five hits and four walks over four innings.
Steven White (2-7) took the loss, surrendering three runs on six hits over six innings while striking out six. T.J. Beam tossed two scoreless innings, while Mark Corey yielded a ninth-inning run. --Benjamin Hill/MLB.com
