Bisons shut out Indians again, 2-0

Herd pitchers toss second consecutive 3-hit shutout

For the second straight day, the Buffalo Bisons held the Indianapolis Indians to just three hits in recording a Spring exhibition shutout victory. On Monday afternoon, RHP SCOTT COPELAND and three relievers helped the Bisons to a 2-0 victory from Dunedin, FL.

On Sunday, LHP ANDREW ALBERS and three relievers blanked the Indians, 6-0.

Copeland got the start for the Bisons and allowed just three hits and a walk in five innings to earn the win. Copeland struck out two batters before turning the shutout over to the bullpen. RHP BO SHULTZ (2.0 IP, 3 SO), RHP RYAN TEPERA (1.0 IP, 2 SO) and RHP BOBBY KORECKY (1.0 IP, 1 SO) closed out the victory.

The Bisons won on six singles with INF KEVIN NOLAN (1-2) picking up the game's lone RBI. INF MATT HAGUE finished the game 1-3 at the plate.

The win gives the Bisons a 5-4-1 record this Spring with three exhibition games left before breaking camp this weekend.
