All-Star Tickets On Sale Now

CORPUS CHRISTI - Individual tickets for the 79th Texas League All-Star Game, presented by CITGO, are on sale now.

The 2015 TL mid-season classic is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, at Whataburger Field. First pitch is 7:30. Fans will enjoy a pregame home run derby featuring players from each team and a postgame fireworks show.

Tickets range from $7 to $15, plus tax, and may be purchased by clicking here, the Whataburger Field Box Office, or by calling 361-561-HOOK (4665).

On June 30, the range changes to $8-$17, plus tax, based on availability.

"The Texas League All-Star Game will be the talk of the town this summer," Hooks president Ken Schrom said. "It's such a great event for the Coastal Bend, and we host only once every eight years. In 2007, we had over 8,500 people at the ballpark."

On that occasion, Hooks second baseman Jonny Ash was the hero. The South Division edged the North, 5-4 in 10 innings, on June 26. Attendance was 8,676.
