Fluor Field open to view Game 1 of the College World Series

They played twice at Fluor Field during the 2010 season, now the South Carolina Gamecocks have advanced to the finals of the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

It has come down to this, the Gamecocks will play the Bruins from UCLA for the National Championship with game one tonight at Rosenblatt Stadium.

Coming out of the losers bracket, South Carolina did the improbable by defeating in-state rival Clemson twice - once on Friday and again on Saturday - to reach the National Championship series.

Because of the Gamecocks run at the title, Fluor Field and the Drive will host a College World Series viewing party on tonight in The 500 Club.

Come and watch the game on one of 5 televisions in The 500 Club, as well as the DriveVision videoboard in right-centerfield. In addition, there will be a full array of food and beverages for purchase.

First pitch of Game 1 for the National Championship is set for 7:30 PM, so gates to Fluor Field will open at 7 PM.

With the Drive returning home on Tuesday, Fluor Field will a great place to watch the two games at once.
