C's unveil special Canada Day jersey and cap
The jerseys will be red in colour with white trim and a large maple leaf on the back with the player's number featured inside the emblem. A white maple leaf will also be displayed on the sleeve of the alternate jersey.
"The goal is to show our patriotism this Canada Day and help generate some support for our newly formed Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation," says C's President Andy Dunn.
"Our players will wear these jerseys during our upcoming home stand and then we will auction off the uniforms with all proceeds going back to our foundation. What a great way to support the foundation and also have an authentic, game worn keepsake that can be enjoyed for years to come".
The Canadians will also sport a New Era signature cap that was designed exclusively for this Canada Day uniform.
The cap will be primarily white with a red brim and the Canadians logo will have the look of our National flag within the design.
The Canadians return to Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium on Thursday, July 1st to open a three-game home stand vs. Eugene starting at 7:05pm. The Canadians will wrap the night up with a special Canada Day fireworks extravaganza presented by Scotiabank.
