Final beer tasting on tap for July 21

Brews, food, prizes, ticket part of VIP package

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The last beer tasting of the year at Parkview Field is set for July 21 in the Treetops Rooftop Party Area. Fans attending receive a VIP package including a ticket to the game, an hour-long beer tasting, a full meal and a unique TinCaps pilsner glass.

Fans must be 21 years of age or older to attend. The beer tasting begins at 6:35 p.m., prior to the TinCaps' game against the Peoria Chiefs (Class-A Chicago Cubs). Three beer suppliers will offer brews for sampling: Five Star Distributing, AALCO Distributing and Mad Anthony Brewery.

Burgers, hot dogs, buffalo wings, rib tips, grilled chicken and an apple crisp dessert are on the menu for the all-you-can eat meal which is included with a VIP ticket. Food will be served from 6:35 p.m. until the end of the 7th inning.

At the beginning of the ninth inning, all fans attending the beer tasting receive a TinCaps pilsner glass. This is the only opportunity to pick up the glass, as it is not offered anywhere else!

Throughout the night, guests can win door prizes including a Bud Light Lime patio umbrella, an Old Milwaukee toolbox grill and a Mad Anthony Growler gift package.

All-inclusive tickets to the TinCaps' final beer tasting of 2010 are priced at $40. Only 100 tickets are available and the first two events have sold out well in advance. To make reservations, call Tyler Baker at (260) 407-2802 by Wednesday, July 14. Fans must be 21 years old or over to attend.
