Here We Go!
CORPUS CHRISTI - Your Corpus Christi Hooks begin their 11th season on the road tonight in Springfield, Missouri. That's a long way (14 hours by bus) from Corpus Christi and Whataburger Field.
But next Thursday, the Hooks begin their initial 2015 homestand against the Cardinals. It's an action-packed six games right out of the box.

Thursday, April 16, Springfield Cardinals @ Hooks, 7:05 p.m. (gates open 5:30)
•Thirsty Thursday (discounted soda and beer), from Stripes.
•As is tradition before each Hooks home opener, the starting nine participate in a memorial first pitch to honor those who've passed away during the off-season.
•After 8:30 a.m. on the 16th, go to the Stripes Facebook Page to learn the Stripes Thirsty Thursday Word of the Day. Later that day or night, repeat the word at the Whataburger Field box office and receive a free Hooks Thirsty Thursday reserved-seat or general admission ticket for each Thirsty Thursday ticket purchased.

•Chris Blake returns for a second season to host the Hooks Pregame Show on-field at 6:30.
•Arrive early for formal 2015 team introductions.
•The Rockport-Fulton High School ROTC presents our nation's colors.

•Enjoy postgame fireworks from the Hooks.
