Tuesday's game postponed due to severe winds

Doubleheader with Stockton scheduled for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

LANCASTER, Calif. - Tuesday night's JetHawks game against the Stockton Ports has been postponed due to severe winds. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, April 15 beginning at 5:30 p.m. 

The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning for the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas at around 3 p.m. today. The High Wind Warning will remain in effect until 3 a.m. Wednesday. The National Weather Service is expecting winds from 25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. 

The JetHawks and Ports will play two seven-inning games during Wednesday night's doubleheader. The second game will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. 

Tickets for Tuesday night's game can be used for Wednesday night's doubleheader or any JetHawks home game during the 2015 season excluding July 3. 

Gates will open one hour before first pitch at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
