Falcon Park to host Auburn High School baseball

The Auburn Doubledays of the New York-Penn League, Single-A Short-Season affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that the Auburn High School varsity baseball team is scheduled to play 12 home games at Falcon Park this spring. The Maroons will take the field at Falcon Park for the first time this season on Saturday, April 18, for a doubleheader against Central Square beginning at 2:00pm.

This year's slate of games marks a return to Falcon Park for the Maroons, who were unable to play at the facility last year due to field renovations.

"We are very excited to welcome the Auburn High School baseball team back to Falcon Park this season," said Doubledays General Manager Mike Voutsinas. "We wish coach John Turcsik and his players well as they look to defend their Section III championship from a year ago."

The Doubledays will open the 2015 season on Friday, June 19 in Batavia. The team will play its first home game of the campaign on Thursday, June 25 against the West Virginia Black Bears at 7:05pm. Season ticket plans are on sale now and can be purchased by calling (315) 255-2489.
