Ports Host Hawkins & Hamilton Football Camp

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Ports, 11-time champions of the California League, are excited to announce that Banner Island Ballpark will be the host venue for the 2010 Hawkins & Hamilton Football Camp, presented by Ports Champion Partner Chase Chevrolet, on Saturday, July 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The 2010 Hawkins & Hamilton Football Camp is free for children ages 7-14, and participants can learn from Tennessee Titans wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins and Super Bowl XLIV Champion New Orleans Saints running back Lynell Hamilton. Both Hawkins and Hamilton are Stockton natives, and attended Edison High School.

"The Stockton Ports are proud to work with the United Way of San Joaquin County and Chase Chevrolet to make this unique football camp available to area youth," said Ports President and General Manager Pat Filippone. "This will be a very fun and exciting event, and we are excited to welcome Lavell, Lynell and aspiring athletes to Banner Island Ballpark."

Participants in the 2010 Hawkins & Hamilton Football Camp will also receive coaching and instruction from other NFL players in addition to Hawkins and Hamilton during the six-hour camp.

Lunch and one free photo will be available for each participant.
