NESN TELEVISION ANNOUNCER HEIDI WATNEY COMING TO GRANITE STATE BASEBALL DINNER, PRESENTED BY NORTHEAST DELTA DENTAL

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are pleased
to announce that New England Sports Network (NESN) anchor/reporter Heidi Watney has been added to the
guest list for the Granite State Baseball Dinner, presented by Northeast Delta Dental, scheduled for
Saturday, November 21, at the Radisson Hotel Expo Center in downtown Manchester, NH. Watney, who
has served as NESN's Boston Red Sox game-day reporter since May 2008, joins such dignitaries as Baseball
Hall of Famer Jim Rice, St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter, Red Sox Hall of Famers Bernie Carbo
and Bob Stanley, New England Patriots Hall of Famer Steve Nelson and many, many more.
"Baseball fans in New England have quickly grown very fond of Heidi Watney in her two seasons covering
the Red Sox on NESN, so we look forward to having her join us at the Granite State Baseball Dinner,
presented by Northeast Delta Dental," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner.
Watney delivers Red Sox pre-game, in-game and post-game updates and interviews, she serves as an
anchor/reporter for the Ultimate Red Sox Show and NESN SportsDesk studio shows and she writes a weekly
column on NESN.com.
Prior to working at NESN, Watney worked as a sports anchor and reporter for KMPH Fox-26 News and a
sports talk radio show host for 1430 ESPN Radio KFIG in Fresno, CA.
The Granite State Baseball Dinner, presented by Northeast Delta Dental, benefits the Children's Hospital at
Dartmouth (CHaD), the Ted Williams Museum and the Fisher Cats Foundation, a statewide charitable
organization that provides scholarships to college-bound New Hampshire and Massachusetts high school
seniors. Tickets to the dinner are $75 per person and can be purchased in person at Merchantsauto.com

Doors to the event open at 5:00pm with a silent auction and autograph session from 5:00-7:00pm. Dinner will
be served at 7:00pm. The auction and autograph session are included in the price of the dinner ticket. WMUR
Sports Director Jamie Staton will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
