Fisher Cats, AutoFair and Steele Hill Resorts Partner for One Exciting Night of Memories and Huge Prizes!

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, announced the grand prize winner of the season-long Autofair "Price That Car" contest, providing a lucky individual with a round trip to Toronto to see the Blue Jays and the Boston Red Sox later this month; and one of the nearly 40 couples who participated in the inaugural Renew Your Wedding Vows Night won a second honeymoon at Steele Hill Resorts in Sanbornton, NH, prior to Saturday night's 7:05pm game between the Fisher Cats and the Altoona Curve at Merchantsauto.com Stadium.

 

Jack McKillop of Merrimack, NH, won the Autofair grand prize: a round trip to Toronto with three-night hotel stay, airfare and two tickets to each of the Boston Red Sox/Toronto Blue Jays games on August 18, 19 and 20 at Rogers Centre.  McKillop was randomly selected during a seventh-inning stretch ceremony on Thursday, July 30, from among all the participants in the Autofair "Price That Car" in-game promotion, which is held in Autofair Section 105 at each Fisher Cats' home game during the 2009 regular season.  He was recognized on the field during Saturday night's pre-game festivities.

 

Art and Pauline Labrie of Manchester, NH, won a second honeymoon at Steele Hill Resorts in Sanbornton, NH, which consists of a six-night, seven-day stay at the luxurious resort located in the heart of the Lakes Region.  The Labries opened the envelope containing the 'Golden Ticket' moments after having their wedding vows renewed on the field with 38 other couples.

 

"We thank Autofair for partnering with us to create the fun in-game promotion that culminated with the fabulous Blue Jays/Red Sox trip to Toronto," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner.  "And we thank all of our Renew Your Wedding Vows partners, especially Steele Hill Resorts, for making the inaugural ceremony so memorable and rewarding for our participating couples."

 

Charlie and Lucille Brown of Manchester, NH, won a $50 Gift Certificate to T-Bones/Cactus Jack's for being the longest-married Couple (55 years), and Bill and Claire Collins of Manchester, NH, were presented with a complimentary couple's massage at Chill Day Spa in Manchester for being the best- dressed couple.


The Fisher Cats open a three-game series at Merchantsauto.com Stadium against the Connecticut Defenders on Tuesday, August 18, at 7:05pm.  The first 1,000 kids in attendance will receive a Free Fisher Cats Backpack, courtesy of U.S. Cellular, and it will be Halloween Night, in conjunction with Fright Kingdom.  The night will include trick-or-treating and a costume contest for the fans.  For tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call (603) 641-2005.
