Bees to Host Teacher Appreciation Night

Local Educators Can Attend May 5 Game for Free

SALT LAKE CITY (April 27, 2015) - The Salt Lake Bees will host their second annual Teacher Appreciation Night on Tuesday, May 5 when the Bees take on the Tacoma Rainiers. Teachers can receive free admission to the game by showing their school I.D. at the box office and can also purchase discounted tickets for family members for just $8.


Teacher Appreciation Night, which is part of the Bees year-round community outreach to support health and wellness, education and youth development, allows the club to honor and thank local educators for their efforts in the classroom. Gates open at 5:35 p.m. with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m.


The Bees have an eight-game homestand May 4-11. Tickets to all Salt Lake Bees home games, can be purchased at Smith's Ballpark box office, at all Smith'sTix outlets and Smith's Food & Drug Stores, by phone at 801-325-BEES (2337) or online at www.slbees.com, with no additional fees. This season all Tuesday games are Kellogg's Kid's Eat Free Night. Kids 12-and-under will receive a free hot dog, drink and snack at the concession stands.
