Feldman, Cowboy Monkey Rodeo on tap for 2015

This is the second of a four-part series unveiling the Spikes' 2015 promotional schedule. The Spikes unveiled the 10th Season and NYPL Championship promotions on Monday. 2015 Spikes theme jerseys and more special events will be announced on Wednesday. Thursday, the Spikes will reveal the complete 2015 promotional schedule, including Daily Value Promotions and FIREWORKS dates.

The State College Spikes continued the unveiling of their 2015 promotional schedule with the announcement of a pair of special appearances during the club's 10th Season at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, which runs from June 19 to September 6.

Leading the way is a special appearance from Corey Feldman, one of the stars of several hit films of the 1980's and beyond, to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park to meet and greet fans duiring that night's 6:05 p.m. game against the Batavia Muckdogs (Miami Marlins). The special theme night and Feldman's appearance are presented by Comcast Spotlight.

Feldman rose to fame with a string of memorable roles in movies such as The Lost Boys, Stand by Me, Gremlins and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as a series of popular films co-starring Corey Haim that gave rise to their notoriety as "The Two Coreys." The multi-talented Feldman also fronts his band, Corey Feldman's Truth Movement, which is set to release its fifth album in 2015.

The Spikes will also welcome back Tim "Wild Thang" Lepard and Team GhostRiders for the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo, presented by Penn State Federal Credit Union, on Saturday, August 15. Before, during and after that night's 7:05 p.m. game against the West Virginia Black Bears (Pittsburgh Pirates), Lepard and his team of monkeys, dogs and sheep will entertain fans with their one-of-a-kind act.

In addition, the 2015 promotional schedule features more of the Spikes' signature theme nights, including Fútbol Night in America on Tuesday, June 23, Going Green Night on Wednesday, July 1, and Military Appreciation Night with a Spikes Camoflauge Hat Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans presented by Lion Country Kia on Saturday, July 11. Plus, fans of all ages can enjoy a special noon start time on Super Splash Day, where Medlar Field at Lubrano Park turns into a waterpark, on Monday, July 13.

The Spikes' 38-game home schedule at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park runs from June 19 through September 6. Fans will get their first chance to purchase single-game tickets for every game on the 2015 schedule this Saturday, May 2 during TicketFest at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
