April 29, 2015

The inaugural ACC Baseball Championship FanFest, presented by Quintiles, will be held just outside Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Friday, May 22, from 2 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The free event, held on Blackwell Street, will serve as the official pre-game destination for fans and will feature attractions from the ACC Corporate Champions, live entertainment, free face painting, official championship merchandise, food trucks, and fun for the entire family.

All tickets for the tournament are now on sale. Full tournament passes can be purchased for $150, while a weekend package and single-game tickets are also available. This year marks the first that the weekend package has been an option, and includes Friday night's game, all three contests on Saturday, and Sunday's championship for $50.

The 2015 ACC Baseball Championship will again feature one of the strongest fields of any tournament in the country. Eight different league teams have been ranked this season, including five that have been ranked in the top 10. In the latest NCAA RPI, the league is tied with a national-best five teams in the top 30. Some of the nation's best players will be featured, as eight ACC players were named to the Midseason Golden Spikes Award Watch List, given annually to the nation's top amateur player.
