The Reading Phillies have been able to do it all over their last seven games, and in turn, have won seven-straight games.

Tonight, in game two of their four-game set with the Harrisburg Senators, the R-Phils will look to make it eight-straight wins, and will continue to be the hottest team in the Eastern League, as they go into the 2010 All-Star break.

On Friday evening, R-Phils righty Vance Worley (8-4, 3.44) took over and tossed a complete game three-hit shutout - leading Reading to an impressive 2-0 victory in the opener. Worley, 22, fanned seven batters over his nine masterful innings, and won for the third time in his last three games.

Equally as impressive on the evening was the fact that Worley ripped a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning. His last home run came back on April 17, 2009 against the Senators - his only home run of 2009. His homer was just the second run of the night for Reading -- and it was all they would need.

Tonight, in game two, the R-Phils will look for their third win of the season against Harrisburg, and will look to keep their red-hot streak alive.

RHP J.C. Ramirez (2-1, 4.62) will take the mound for Reading in game two of their four-game set tonight. Ramirez, 21, looks to win his second-straight contest, after tossing his best game of the season with Reading on July 5. The Nicaraguan native allowed just two runs on seven hits over seven brilliant innings, en-route to his second win of the season with the R-Phils. He fanned seven and walked two.

LHP John Lannan (1-2, 4.95) gets the nod for Harrisburg. Lannan, a native of Manhasset, NY, will make just his fourth start of the season for the Senators. The 25-year-old lefty has dropped his last two outings.

Brian Seltzer will have the call for the Reading Phillies pre-game show at 6:05 p.m. on ESPN Radio 1240 AM WIOV and readingphillies.com. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
