The Great American Blast Headlines May Promotions at Arvest Ballpark

SPRINGDALE, AR - The 2015 season is underway and the April schedule is nearing an end; however, the fun at Arvest Ballpark is just beginning as the Naturals will host 20 home games during the month of May and 16 out of 17 from May 14 until May 31. The upcoming month will be highlighted by the return of The Great American Blast, which will be a trio of spectacular fireworks shows at Arvest Ballpark over Memorial Day Weekend on Friday, May 22, Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24.

The second annual Great American Blast at Arvest Ballpark will give fans three (3) consecutive nights of Fireworks to celebrate Memorial Day weekend. The Naturals will take on the Tulsa Drillers, the Double-A Los Angeles Dodgers, that weekend with the game presented by SeaPak on Friday, May 22 beginning at 7:05 p.m. while the games on Saturday, May 23 presented by SourceGas and Sunday, May 24 presented by Mini Babybel® Cheese are both scheduled to begin at 6:05 p.m.

In addition to the trio of Fireworks shows over Memorial Day weekend, the month of May offers fans three (3) other opportunities to see a Fireworks Spectacular at Arvest Ballpark. The first is tomorrow night, May 1, as we celebrate Strike's Birthday presented by Bic and the Naturals also have post-game Fireworks scheduled on Friday, May 15 as well as Friday, May 29. 

The month of May not only features The Great American Blast but our first Faith and Family Night of the season presented by Sam's Furniture and media partner KLRC. The first event of two (2) on the year is on Friday, May 15 and features a pre-game Christian concert by Moriah Peters before a 7:15pm ballgame with a post-game Fireworks Spectacular to conclude the night. 

Fireworks is just one (1) of the promotions going on at Arvest Ballpark during the month of May. The Naturals will host three (3) giveaway nights with the first scheduled for Saturday, May 16. On that night, the Naturals will be giving the first 2,000 fans in attendance a Replica Road Grey Jersey presented by Tyson Foods. The second giveaway night will occur on Thursday, May 21 when the Naturals will give the first 1000 fans Glow in the Dark Sunglasses presented by Foghorn's. The third giveaway night is on Saturday, May 30 when the Naturals will give away 2,000 Camouflage Jerseys courtesy of Western Federal Credit Union.

In addition to the Fireworks and Giveaways, May features our first Bark in the Ballpark event on May 3 presented by Bark 'N Paws and FROMM. In total, there are four (4) Kids Eat FREE Family Sundays scheduled, three (3) Buck Nights on Thirsty Thursday, two (2) SWEPCO School Kids Days and Arvest Two for Tuesdays, and one (1) Monday Night Lights presented by Ozarks Electric Cooperative as well as one (1) Winning Wednesday presents #NaturalAwesomeness.

Single game tickets for each event in May, as well as the remainder of the 2015 season, are on sale now at the Arvest Ballpark Box Office. All tickets purchased online or by telephone must be paid for via credit card. Children 12 and under, adults over 55 years of age, and active or retired military with valid identification receive $1 off the purchase of Premium, Reserved, or Jack Link's Jerky Grass Berm/General Admission seating for individual game tickets but must be purchased in-person.
