Terrero powers Lynx

Luis Terrero went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs as Ottawa topped visiting Pawtucket, 8-4, on Tuesday.

Terrero connected for his 13th homer in the fifth inning to break a 4-4 tie. He also delivered an RBI double in the third.

Ed Rogers led the Lynx (69-62) with three hits while singling in a run in the fourth. Howie Clark and Eli Whiteside drove in two runs apiece while Val Majewski went 2-for-4 with two runs scored.

Ottawa reliever Andy Mitchell (1-1) pitched 2 1/3 scoreless frames to pick up the victory. He gave up one hit and fanned four.

Eddy Rodriguez tossed two perfect frames, striking out four, to record his 12th save.

Red Sox starter Marc Deschenes (6-5) was charged with seven runs -- six earned -- on 13 hits while fanning three in six innings.
