May 3, 2015

Modesto, CA. - Johendi Jiminian dealt seven innings of one-run ball to complete the Modesto Nuts three-game sweep against the Lancaster Jethawks with a 7-1 win on Sunday afternoon.

Jiminian (W, 1-3) tossed seven innings and allowed just a solo home run while striking out seven and walking just two. He was the third straight Nuts' (11-13) starter to work seven innings to help extend the Nuts' season-long winning streak to three.

Michael Benjamin, Jr. bounced a ball off third baseman J.D. Davis' glove to score two runs. Ryan McMahon followed with the Nuts' first hit of the game, a two-run single.

Raimel Tapia homered to extend the Nuts lead in the seventh, Tapia's third home run of the year.
