BSU Football Team Plays Charity Softball at Stadium
The First Tee of Idaho, a chapter of the national organization, impacts the lives of young people in the Treasure Valley by teaching life skills and the inherent positive values of golf in a safe, fun environment. They are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides affordable access to golf and life skills that promote character development through the game of golf regardless of race, ethnicity, or economic circumstances.
The game will pit the Boise State Offensive team (Kellen Moore, captain) against the Defensive team (Derrell Acrey, captain). Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with the Home Run Derby starting at 6:00 p.m. The Home Run Derby will feature current Boise State University Players, coaches and celebrity contestants. The game will start at 7:00 p.m., followed by an autograph session from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. sponsored by Newko Nutrition. Concessions will be available during the event, as well as there will be a raffle for the chance to win some great prizes including; 4 tickets to a BSU football game, Boise Hawks tickets, an autographed football and much more!
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 for a family pack (up to 2 adults and 3 children). Tickets are available at the Boise Hawks Box Office and at 208-322-5000. Tickets can also be purchased at the Boise Hawks Box office prior to the day of the event, as well as the day of the event at 5600 Glenwood Street, Boise Idaho 83714.

The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Anaheim Angels from 1990-2000 and has been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001.The Hawks are preparing for their 24th season of Northwest League play.
