Belly Buster Night is Back at BB&T Coastal Field

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will be hosting their 2nd annual Belly Buster Night on July 29th! Contestants of the Belly Buster Challenge will have to consume a unique or unusual food item during each inning. If the item is eaten entirely during the inning, then the contestant advances to the next round of the Challenge. If the contestant cannot finish the food in a full inning, however, then the contestant is eliminated from the contest. The last contestant remaining is declared the winner.

Last year's food items included: hotdogs, bananas, a bag of Marshmallows, a can of pork and beans, cups of pudding, canned fish, and a sleeve of saltine crackers.

The Pelicans are currently searching for contestants to be part of the Belly Buster Challenge. The grand prize winner will receive a Pelicans gift basket filled with great prizes!

In fact, the grand prize winner of the Pelicans Belly Buster Challenge will receive $100 in Splash Cash to be used anywhere around the ballpark, four free tickets to the new all-you-can-eat seats above the Pelicans bullpen, food coupons to vendors here at BB&T Coastal Field, a Ridemakerz Ridez car, movie tickets, and merchandise autographed by Pelicans players!

Contestants in the challenge will receive great prizes just for participating.
