.38 Special and the ZOOperstars! Highlight Homestand

OMAHA, NE - Thirty years after .38 Special first hit the music charts with the song "Rockin' Into the Night," the group will be rockin' into the night on Friday, July 23rd at Rosenblatt Stadium. The concert, presented by Werner Enterprises and 96.1 The Brew, will follow the Omaha Royals 7:05 p.m. game vs. the New Orleans Zephyrs and a Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks show. These exciting promotions are slated for the upcoming homestand:

Friday, July 23, 7:05 p.m.: The six-game homestand opens with a special night, as .38 Special performs a post-game concert, presented by Werner Enterprises and 96.1 The Brew! The concert follows Werner Enterprises Friday Fireworks. The night is also presented by KETV and The Reader. Also, the Salvation Army will be collecting items for their back-to-school drive. Fans are asked to bring backpacks, crayons, markers, glue, erasers, spiral notebooks, two-pocket folders, pencils, pens and filler paper.

Saturday, July 24, 5:30 p.m. DOUBLEHEADER: Due to a postponed game in May, the Royals and Z's play two! And it's appearance number two at Rosenblatt this season for The ZOOperstars!, presented by the Nebraska Credit Union League. The world-famous entertainment act featuring memorable characters like Harry Canary will be performing during both games. The Salem Stepping Saints Drill Team will perform in between games. It's also Boy Scout Night, including a Scout picnic and festival before the doubleheader and a sleepover on the field after the second game. The night is also presented by The Big O 101.9, WOWT and The Reader.

Sunday, July 25, 12:05 p.m. DOUBLEHEADER: Double the games, double the family fun! It's U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art. Subway Kids Club members get in FREE. After the twinbill, all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey, presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM, Fox 42 and Family Spectrum Magazine.

Monday, July 26, 12:05 p.m.: It's the homestand finale and your last chance to catch the Royals at historic Rosenblatt Stadium in July. Enjoy ½-price Omaha Steaks Burgers! It's also the fourth of six Ballpark Bingo Bashes this season in the Hall of Fame Room. The day is also presented by 1110 KFAB.
