Red Barons playoff tix on sale

August 24, 2006
Individual tickets for potential International League Governors' Cup playoff games will go on sale to the general public Monday, August 28 beginning at 9 a.m.

Tickets will be available Lackawanna County Stadium's box office in person, via phone by calling 570-969-2255 or at www.redbarons.com

Should the Red Barons remain in first place and win the International League North division they would play September 6 and 7 at the wild card city. The final three games, Sept. 8-10 (two if necessary) would be played at Lackawanna County Stadium.

If the Red Barons win the wild card instead of the division then they would host the first two games Sept. 6 & 7 and then travel to the North winner's park for the final three games.

Round two of the playoffs will feature the winner of the West/South series at the North/Wild Card city September 12-13. The final three games of the five game series would be played at the West/South winner city September 14-16.

Lower level seats will be the first sold for all potential playoff games. Should all lower level seating be sold the upper level will be opened for sale. Box seats are $11 and bleachers are $8.50.

Fans may obtain refunds for any non-played games by returning them to the box office by September 29. Season ticket holders would also have the option of crediting their account for the 2007 season.
