2015 Triple-A "All-Star Week" Festivities
OMAHA, Neb. - The First National Bank 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 15, is the culmination of several events during "All-Star Week" at Werner Park and in the Omaha Metro July 12-15. Earlier today, the Storm Chasers released the schedule for "All-Star Week" (#ASG15Omaha):
Celebrity All-Star Fan Fest presented by ConAgra Foods
Sunday, July 12, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The Omaha Storm Chasers kick off the 2015 Triple-A All-Star Week with a free community event at Werner Park. The event will include a beer garden, a performance by Lemon Fresh Day, a ballpark open house, and a 5-inning celebrity softball game brought to you by ConAgra Foods' national "Child Hunger Ends Here" campaign.
Triple-A Home Run Derby powered by OPPD
Monday, July 13, 7:35 p.m.
The 2015 Triple-A Home Run Derby will highlight three All-Stars from the Pacific Coast League and the International League along with two Nebraska area high school participants. These eight participants will swing for the fences for a chance to win the Home Run Derby Belt. Interested High School baseball player participants can apply online at www.omahastormchasers.com/ASG15 until May 21.
All-Star Workout/Media Day
Tuesday, July 14, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Workout/Media Day will be free and open to the general public. Game participants will be available for the following: autograph session, media availability, team photos, light workout and batting practice.
All-Star Gala presented by Werner Enterprises
Tuesday, July 14, 6:30 p.m. -11:00 p.m.
The 2015 All-Star Gala hosted at the World's #1 Zoo, Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, will bring executives, participants, and families together for a night to be remembered. Omaha's best caterer, Catering Creations, will provide a wide variety of food throughout the aquarium and conference center.
All-Star Spotlight Luncheon pres. by SAC Federal Credit Union
Wednesday, July 15, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
The 2015 All-Star Spotlight Luncheon, presented by SAC Federal Credit Union, will take place at the Embassy Suites La Vista. Luncheon highlights will include an introduction of the All-Star participants and coaching staff, keynote speakers and honorary youth from PlaySmart.
First National Bank 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game
Wednesday, July 15, 7:05 p.m.
The Pacific Coast League and the International League meet on the field at Werner Park for the 28th annual Triple-A All-Star Game. The sponsor, First National Bank, will throw out the first pitch.
