OF Adron Chambers placed on bereavement list

DES MOINES, Iowa -­ The Chicago Cubs today placed outfielder Adron Chambers  on the bereavement list.

Chambers, 28, is hitting .239 (17­-for-­71) with seven RBI and two steals in 26 games for the I­-Cubs.

With this move, Iowa's active roster is now at 24 plus two major league rehab assignments and one player on the disabled list.
