Josh Turner Coming to Centene Stadium
GREAT FALLS, Mont. (May 20, 2015) - The Great Falls Advertising Federation, better known as "Ad Club," will team up this year with the Great Falls Voyagers to bring in another well-known celebrity for the Fifth Annual Celebrity Celebration. Kicking off Labor Day weekend will be multi-platinum country star Josh Turner on Wednesday, September 2, with gates opening at 5:30pm. Turner and his band will perform at Centene Stadium. This will be the first time the Ad Club has partnered with another organization to host the annual Celebrity Celebration.
Tickets will cost $40 and $30, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. They are on sale now and can be purchased here, Centene Stadium, and by phone at 406-452-5311. There will also be a live-remote ticket release party at Centene Stadium on Friday, May 22 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., featuring free hot dogs, bounce houses, and various other activities.
Turner is a multi-platinum MCA Nashville recording artist and is one of country music's most recognizable hit-makers. With a rich, deep voice and distinctive style, Turner has sold more than 12 million units, is a disciple of traditional country music, and is one of the youngest members of the Grand Ole Opry. From his 2003 platinum-selling debut Long Black Train, to his most recent 2012 Billboard No. 1 release Punching Bag, Turner has garnered multiple Grammy, CMA, and ACM nominations. Turner's hits include "Your Man", "Why Don't We Just Dance", "Firecracker", "Would You Go with Me", "All Over Me", and "Time Is Love", the most played country song of 2012.
Turner added author to his list of accomplishments, when his first book, Man Stuff: Thoughts on Faith, Family and Fatherhood, was released in April 2014. The Hannah, S.C., native has been songwriting and performing since he was a young child, and in support of music education, created The Josh Turner Scholarship Fund to assist students interested in pursuing a future in arts and music. Last year's featured celebrity, was beloved comedian Bob Newhart. He followed comedian Bill Cosby, who entertained a sold-out audience the year prior.
