NEC Baseball Championship Starts Tomorrow

NORWICH, CT-The 2015 Northeast Conference Baseball Championship at Dodd Stadium is set to start tomorrow, May 21^st.  The Northeast Conference Baseball Championship is a Division I College Baseball tournament that will feature the top four teams in the league playing a double-elimination tournament. The winner will earn the conference's automatic berth into the 2015 NCAA Tournament. 

This years field includes:

Bryant University-Smithfield, RI

Fairleigh Dickinson University-Teaneck, NJ

Sacred Heart University-Fairfield, CT

Wagner College-State Island, NY

Tickets are available online at cttigers.com, over the phone at (860) 887-7962, or in person at the Dodd Stadium ticket office. Games will be played at 12 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on May 21-23. The championship game will be played on Sunday, May 24^th at 12 p.m. if necessary.

The opening day schedule is:

No. 4 Fairleigh Dickinson (20-24, 11-13 NEC) vs. No. 1 Bryant (26-23, 17-7 NEC) 12:00 p.m.

No. 3 Sacred Heart (20-29-1, 13-11 NEC) vs. No. 2 Wagner (27-21-1, 15-9 NEC) 4:00 p.m.

The Connecticut Tigers are the New York-Penn League affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play a 76 game schedule that runs from mid June through early September. 2015 season tickets, group tickets, mini plans, individual game tickets, and team merchandise are now on sale!
