Pro Wrestling Legend Jeff Jarrett to Appear at Classic Park on May 29
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, are pleased to announce that professional wrestling legend, Jeff Jarrett, will appear at Classic Park on Friday, May 29. Jarrett will be in town to promote the upcoming Global Force Wrestling "MILB Grand Slam Tour" scheduled for Saturday, July 11 at Classic Park. Jarrett will throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the 6:30 PM game versus the South Bend Cubs and will be available for autographs during the game.
Jarrett is the founder and CEO of Global Force Wrestling and has been in the wrestling industry his entire life, following in the footsteps of his father, Jerry Jarrett, and his grandmother Christine Jarrett. He has held 74 championships in various wrestling promotions. Most notably, he was a four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a six-time WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Joining Jarrett for the July 11 "MILB Grand Slam Tour" event at Classic Park will be Legendary wrestling superstar "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner as well as the hottest faction in wrestling today the "Bullet Club," and former NFL star turned wrestler Quinn "Moose" Ojinnaka, along with other elite athletes from around the world.
