Official 2015 Burlington Royals Promotions

Highlights Include: 7 Fireworks Shows, Hummin' Bird Mug Club, Dollar Monday Madness, Specialty Thursday Jerseys, and Autism Awareness 5K

BURLINGTON, NC-- The Burlington Royals have released the promotional calendar for the 2015 season at Burlington Athletic Stadium. The 30th Anniversary Season of Appalachian League Baseball in Burlington is sure to be memorable for all fans. The calendar features thirty-five nights of entertainment, highlighted by seven post-game fireworks shows, an added emphasis on weekly specials, and endless amounts of fun. From Monday through Sunday, you are guaranteed to have a great time at Burlington Athletic Stadium at an affordable price.   

Dollar Monday Madness

Start every week with the best deal in town. Each and every Monday, general admission tickets will only be ONE DOLLAR! We will also have hot dogs, canned soda, candy and chips for just a buck each on Mondays. Caswell (July 13th) , Mebane (July 20th), and Graham (August 17th) Community Nights will be on specific Mondays this season.   

T-Shirt Tuesdays

The first 300 fans will receive a free t-shirt courtesy of our local partners on every Tuesday game this season. Come early, stay late, and look good after coming to a Burlington Royals mid-week game.

Wishful Wednesdays

We'll be supporting a few terrific causes on Wednesdays in 2015. Military Appreciation Night (July 1st), Bark in the Park (July 29th), Alzheimer's Awareness Night (August 5th), and Cancer Awareness Night (August 26th) will each take place on a Wednesday.

Thirsty Thursdays™

The Royals will continue Thirsty Thursdays with several new draft beers on tap for just $1. Seven Thursdays are on the calendar this season, so plan to celebrate and start your weekend early with the Royals. Also, the Royals will be wearing specialty powder blue retro uniforms each Thursday home game.

Hummin' Bird Friday Mug Club

Make sure to buy your exclusive 22oz. Hummin' Bird Mug and enjoy $3 refills of Hummin' Bird on Fridays at Burlington Athletic Stadium. Hummin' Bird and Red Oak will proudly be served in 2015!

Saturday Fireworks Shows

In association with great community partners, the Royals will host 5 additional fireworks shows after July 3rd and 4th weekend. Post-game Fireworks Shows will be on the following dates:

Saturday, August 8th; Presented by Alamance Regional Medical Center

Saturday, August 22nd; Presented by LabCorp and Proponent Federal Credit Union

Times-News Family Sundays

Be on the lookout for $2 ticket coupons in your Sunday edition of The Times-News. Kids who sign up for Bingo's Buddies Kid's Club (Presented by Bricks 4 Kidz) will be able to attend different events each Sunday.

Celebrate the Independence Day weekend at the ballpark! We have games on July 3rd and 4th with post-game fireworks being on display for both nights! We will have bounce houses, live music, crazy games, face painting, and tons of other fun things going on all weekend. On July 4th, the gates will open at 4PM.

Hometown Heroes Night-July 19th

Recognize your Hometown Heroes with the Burlington Royals and TickleMyRibs BBQ. On Sunday, July 19th, we will honor Mary Gorrell Jones (Alight Foundation), Jeanine Patten-Coble (Little Pink Houses of Hope), Faye Boswell (Hospice of Alamance-Caswell), and Jay Smith (Fire Chief, Burlington). TickleMyRibs BBQ is proudly served every night at the ballpark.

Autism Awareness 5K Run/Walk-August 29th

We have once again partnered with the Autism Society of North Carolina to put on the Annual 5K Family Fun Run/Walk for Autism. Race participants will receive a ticket to the game that evening and proceeds will help support individuals and families affected by autism.

Other highlights in the promotional schedule include:

  • Day Game at the Ballpark (July 22nd) is our annual 11am Day Game for all summer camps, kids clubs, and daycares who will enjoy a fun outing with their friends.
  • Faith and Family Night (Friday August 7th) will include a pre-game concert by Waiting Hill, based out of Charlotte. Churches should contact the ticket office for more information on how they can work with the Royals.
  • Alamance County Chamber of Commerce Night (July 30th) 
  • The infamous Hot Dog Heaven will be making a return this season, as we will offer 25 cent hot dogs on August 4th.
  • Not cut out for a 5K? Try the 1K Beer Run (August 27th) with three laps aroung the warning track and a beer for each lap! 
  • The Royals would also like to welcome all students of Alamance County out to ABSS Schools Night June 21st. Reader Appreciation Night (August 18th) will celebrate all kids who completed the Summer Reading Program Back to School Celebration (Presented by Alamance Reads) will take place on August 29th.
