Special edition championship rings now on sale

"Blue Stone" NYPL title rings, pendants available for fans to purchase

State College Spikes fans now have the opportunity to own their very own New York-Penn League championship rings, just like the players, coaches and staff from last year's title team. A special "Blue Stone" edition of the official ring is now available for purchase through the team.

This limited-time offer will be available to fans through July 31. The personalized "Blue Stone" rings are available in two versions, and ring top pendants are also available to purchase for fans that wish to celebrate the championship with style.

The rings and pendants are designed and manufactured by Jostens, which has crafted the rings of Super Bowl, College Football Playoff, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final and World Series champions for nearly 50 years.

To place orders for the official "Blue Stone" rings and pendants, fans can call the Spikes at (814) 272-1711. Pendants are on sale starting at $274.85, with rings on sale beginning at $297.85.

The Spikes look to defend their NYPL title starting with Opening Night on Friday, June 19, when the Williamsport Crosscutters (Philadelphia Phillies) come into Medlar Field at Lubrano Park for a 7:05 p.m. matchup. The club's New York-Penn League championship banner will be revealed during pre-game ceremonies, and the skies will light up with a fantastic FIREWORKS spectacular after the game.

The opening weekend is also highlighted by the chance for one lucky fan to receive an Authentic NYPL Championship Ring on Sunday, June 21, when the Spikes take on the Crosscutters at 6:05 p.m. The first 999 fans will receive a Replica NYPL Championship Ring, and then one fan will be selected to get the exact same ring as the players, coaches and staff from the 2014 title team. All 1,000 rings, both replica and authentic, will be presented by First National Bank.

Single-game tickets for the opening weekend, as well as all 38 regular season home dates between June 19 and September 6, are currently on sale through the Spikes Box Office and online by clicking here. Fans can visit the Box Office in person weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call (814) 272-1711. Fans purchasing online have the ability to print their tickets using a home computer and printer.

Groups of 20 or more can also purchase discounted tickets for any of the Spikes' 38 home dates.
