Astros looking for National Anthem singers

Auditions set for June 10th-11th at Pioneer Park

On Wednesday and Thursday, June 10th and June 11th, the Greeneville Astros will be inviting any and all musically talented people and groups to audition to perform the National Anthem at one of their home games this season. Individual singers, musicians and groups are all welcome. The tryouts are set to begin at Pioneer Park, on the campus of Tusculum College, at 2:00pm.

The auditions are open to all ages and any type of performer. Those selected from the tryouts will be notified in the days following. Walk-up registration is available, but priority will be given to those who pre-register by calling (423) 638-0411.

The Greeneville Astros are the Appalachian League affiliate of the Houston Astros. Opening Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 25th at 7:00pm against the Bristol Pirates.
