San Jose Giants and KRTY Partner for Fifth Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night
San Jose, CA- Come out and join the San Jose Giants and Team KRTY for the Fifth Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Municipal Stadium on Friday, June 5. The San Jose Giants and KRTY are once again teaming up for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer to raise funds and bring Breast Cancer Awareness to Municipal Stadium on June 5 at 7:00 PM against the High Desert Mavericks. The game will also feature Postgame Fireworks following the final out.
"Breast Cancer Awareness Night at Municipal Stadium has become a wonderful, annual tradition, bringing the community together to help fight a disease that continues to affect countless lives, including members of our Giants family," said Juliana Paoli, Chief Marketing Officer of the San Jose Giants. "Our partnership with Team KRTY gives our organization the tremendous honor of raising money for a cause that is close to many people's hearts. We want to encourage fans to make plans to be at the ballpark on June 5."
Fans that wear their pink gear to the Friday night game will receive two FREE future game tickets. Gates will open at 5:30 PM and fans can visit the Team KRTY booth on the third base side at any time throughout the game. The Giants will also be hosting a silent auction of limited edition game-worn players' and coaches' jerseys. The highest bidder will be able to go on the field following the game and receive their new autographed jersey right off the respective San Jose Giant's back.
