Bill Buckner at Regions Field Tuesday
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Legendary baseball star Bill Buckner will appear at Regions Field as part of the 2015 Principal Financial Dreams Tour on Tuesday, June 2nd. The Principal also will make a donation to The Bell Center which provides services to maximize the potential of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay.
At each tour stop, a former MLB great will meet with fans, sign autographs and pose for photos. The first 2,000 fans to arrive at the ballpark will receive a limited edition collectible baseball card featuring a photo of the player which, when signed, will be a valuable, limited edition souvenir.

"This tour has become part of the fabric of Minor League Baseball and we've been fortunate to be included in most of the tours. Having Bill Buckner as a guest is an added treat for our fans."
The Principal Financial Dreams Tour will appear at 17 Minor League ballparks across the country. Since 2004, The Principal has been producing events at minor league parks and has sponsored more than 500 events attracting more than two million fans. In addition to the player appearance, fans will be able to participate in contests and will have the opportunity to receive information they can use to help them plan for their financial future.

The Barons are also expecting their one millionth fan to come through the gates Tuesday with a number of great prizes awaiting the lucky fan. Prizes will be presented on the field before the game, and the millionth fan will throw out the first pitch.
First pitch between the Barons and Shuckers is set for 7:05 p.m. Mark Blackmar (0-3, 4.59 ERA) gets the start for the Barons and Jorge Lopez (3-2, 392 ERA) takes to the bump for the Shuckers.
