El Paso starting pitcher Jason Lane threw 8.2 innings in the Chihuahuas 7-4 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers Tuesday night. Lane's start was the longest in Chihuahuas' history.

Omaha scored three first inning runs on Paulo Orlando's RBI fielder's choice and Brett Eibner's two-run home run. The Chihuahuas tied the game when Tommy Medica hit a three-run, line drive home run in the bottom of the first. It was Medica's first home run since April 10.

El Paso continued its stretch of seven unanswered runs in when Melvin Upton Jr. hit a two-run single to put the Chihuahuas ahead 5-3 in the bottom of the second. Upton went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a stolen base Tuesday. Alex Dickerson's solo home run and Ramiro Pena's RBI single in the fifth made it 7-3 El Paso.

Medica, Pena and Upton all had two hits for the Chihuahuas. The win placed El Paso in second place, 2.5 games behind first place Las Vegas.
